Our
Mission
BeeThe1ToHelpSomeone is a mental health advocacy organization committed to changing the conversation around mental health. With our "Sock'n It To Stigma" & "Healthy Me + Healthy You = Healthy Community" campaign for healthier neighborhoods, we are working to promote a greater understanding of mental health issues and to remove the stigmas. Our mission is to have individuals trained in Mental Health First Aid in as many neighborhoods as possible to serve as the first line of defense for those in need. We believe in a world where everyone, including rural and marginalized populations, can have access to compassionate, culturally sensitive and sustainable mental health care, and we're dedicated to making that a reality.
1 in 5 American adults experience a mental health disorder in a single year

130 people die by suicide everyday.

BeeThe1ToHelpSomeone is here to make a difference. With suicide as a leading cause of death in the USA, we want to make sure that people find the resources and support they need. As an urgent national public health problem, suicide can only be addressed with meaningful action at the individual, neighborhood and national levels. Bringing down the suicide rate requires a lot of work, but we are optimistic. Our mission is to support those who are struggling with mental health issues. We are committed to providing the easily accessible resources to empower people to overcome their struggles.
